Song Kul is a high alpine lake situated at an altitude of 3016 meters, 350 km, 4-5 hours driving from Bishkek. It is the second largest lake in Kyrgyzstan and it is one of the highlights of Kyrgyzstan. Nomads come to this area with their families and herders during summer and use this place as a summer pasture. If you are looking for a nomadic life with virgin nature and beautiful landscapes, Son – Kul Lake is the right place where you have to travel. Here, you can do a horse riding and hiking to the mountains or just relax in this natural paradise.
